What we believe

The whole thing rests on one sentence.

The law was given through Moses. Grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

John 1:17

The law tells you what you ought to be. Grace tells you who God is. One was delivered by a servant. The other walked in as the Son.

Grace

Salvation is a gift, not a wage. It can't be earned, deserved, repaid, or revoked — only received. Under the law, God demanded righteousness from people who didn't have any. Under grace, He hands it over as a gift.

John 1:17 · 2 Corinthians 5:21 · Romans 5:17 · Ephesians 2:8-9

The Bible

The entire Bible is inspired by God — 100% accurate, without error — and the unshakable foundation for sound doctrine and the way we live.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 · Hebrews 4:12

One God, Three Persons

One God, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Matthew 3:16-17 · 2 Corinthians 13:14 · Ephesians 4:4-6

Jesus

Fully God. Virgin born. Sinless. He healed, He worked miracles, He died an atoning death on the cross, He rose bodily from the grave, and He ascended to the right hand of the Father as our High Priest. And He is coming back, exactly like He said.

John 14:2-3 · Matthew 24:30

Salvation

God so loved the world that He gave His only Son — and whoever believes in Him will not perish. He didn't send Jesus to condemn the world. He sent Him to save it. Confess Him with your mouth, believe it in your heart, and you are saved. That's the whole transaction.

John 3:16-17 · Romans 10:9-10, 13

Victory Over Sin

Grace is not a license to sin — it's the only power that ever actually broke one. Sin has no dominion over a person who knows who they are in Christ. Anybody using grace as cover for whatever they want is not preaching what we preach.

Romans 6:14 · Titus 2:11-12

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is our Comforter and our guide. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, in praying in the Spirit, and in the gifts and the fruit He gives.

John 14:26 · Acts 2:1-4 · 1 Corinthians 12:7-11 · Galatians 5:22-23

Water Baptism

An outward expression of an inward faith — identifying with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus.

Acts 8:12 · Romans 6:4

Communion

We take communion regularly, remembering the body that was broken so ours could be whole and the blood that was shed so our sins could be gone.

Luke 22:19 · 1 Corinthians 11:24-25 · Isaiah 53:5

Nothing Is Impossible

God is still God. He still heals, still provides, still restores, still rebuilds what collapsed. Nothing is impossible for Him — not your marriage, not your finances, not your record, not you.

Luke 1:37 · Matthew 19:26 · Jeremiah 32:27

The Mission

We're called to carry this good news — the gospel of grace — to all nations. That's not a department of this church. It's the point of it.

Acts 20:24

Want the long version?

There's no hidden clause.

Nothing you have to do to get in, and nothing you can do to get thrown out.
